I’m a new man on SCCM. There is a research project in the company, which is related on extension development on SCCM console and client agent.
I have glanced at the SDK on-line. It’s possible to extend the SCCM console. I’m wondering if it’s possible to extend the client agent of SCCM. I have my software to collect/manage client computers, but it uses individual communication protocol, compare with SCCM. I have manage the concurrency by my software. Obviously, I need time to manage it and can’t ensure provide good performance.
If I can extend the SCCM client, I think the communication should be the thing between SCCM server and SCCM client. I would save time on it.
If I can’t, I want to know if I could use the communication protocol of SCCM on my software when it comunicates with SCCM server, which collects/manages client computers, in order to achieve the above goal also.
It’s better to get some on-line references.
